Events

Derby SEND Voice hosts a range of FREE events designed to support, inform, and uplift parent carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Through webinars and information sessions, we aim to educate and empower families and give them the tools, knowledge, and confidence to advocate effectively for their children within education, health, and social care systems.
Alongside these, we organise welcoming social gatherings such as coffee mornings, which offer a vital space for parent carers to connect, share experiences, and build supportive relationships with others navigating similar journeys. These events foster a sense of community, reduce isolation, and ensure that no parent feels alone in facing the challenges and triumphs of SEND parenting.
Past events include our Big family SEND event, Webinars on the EHCP process, Transitions and Sleep, and a number of in person meetings and coffee mornings
