Derby SEND Voice is a Parent Carer Forum that works to empower and represent the views and experiences of parents and carers of children and young people aged 0–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) living in Derby City.

 

We are an independent group of volunteer parent carers, united by our lived experience and commitment to help shape positive change and improve outcomes for families across Derby.

 

We offer free membership giving parent carers access to information sessions, webinars, events and workshops. We also provide the opportunity to connect, share and build a support network with other families facing similar journeys.

 

We work in partnership with Derby City Council, Education, Health, Social Care, and other service providers using the voice and opinions of our members to help ensure that the services they plan and deliver truly reflect the needs of local families.
